1. Overview
Flagged ("we," "our," or "us") is a pattern recognition tool designed to help users identify communication dynamics in their messages. We prioritize your privacy by operating on a decentralized data model: we do not create user accounts, we do not store your personal data on our servers, and we do not sell your information to third parties.
2. Information Processing & AI Analysis
To provide our scanning and "Gut Check" features, Flagged utilizes the Anthropic Claude API.
Text Analysis: When you submit a message for a scan, the text is sent to Anthropic to identify "red flags" or "green flags" in communication patterns.
Objective Scope: The AI is strictly limited to pattern recognition; it does not provide personal life coaching or relationship ultimatums (e.g., it will not tell you "you should stay" or "you should break up").
Data Handling: Submitted text is processed by Anthropic in accordance with their privacy standards and is not retained by Flagged after the analysis is complete.
Recommendation: We advise users to remove highly sensitive identifiers (full names, phone numbers) before scanning.
3. Subscriptions & Payment Processing
Flagged offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions:
Monthly Plan: $12.99/month (includes 10 scans per day).
Yearly Plan: $59.99/year (includes 30 scans per day plus 30 bonus scans on signup).
To manage these services, we use the following third-party providers:
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and track active subscriptions via anonymized purchase receipts.
Apple (App Store): All financial transactions and payment card data are handled exclusively by Apple; Flagged never sees or stores your credit card information.
4. Local Storage & Data Control
Most of your interaction data remains exclusively on your device:
Local Data: Your scan history, "Gut Check" results, and first name are stored locally and are never transmitted to our servers.
User Control: You can clear your scan history at any time through the app's Settings.
Data Removal: Deleting the Flagged app will permanently remove all locally stored data from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Flagged is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under this age.
6. Terms of Use (EULA)
By using Flagged, you also agree to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your use of the software and the terms of your auto-renewable subscription.
